Cheazy Apple Tarts
How to make our simple and delicious Apple Tart with Smelly Ha'peth cheese (or other blue cheese) in just 15 minutes.
Ingredients
(serves 6-8 people)
Shortcrust pastry
Apples
Lemon juice
Sugar
Smelly Ha’peth (or any other blue cheese)
Honey
Fresh thyme leaves
Method
Heat up the oven to 200c.
Roll out the shortcrust pastry and cut into squares and place on a baking tray and prick.
Slice the apples thinly and mix within lemon juice.
Then place the sliced apples on the shortcrust squares. Sprinkle with sugar.
Pop into oven for 15 minutes.
Top each tart with crumbled Smelly Ha’peth (blue cheese). Drizzle over the honey and scatter oven the thyme leaves.
Provides a great tasty tart which has a great crunch, sweetness and cheesy hit.
