Our February Cheaze Box Club featured a delicious variety of cheeses this month and a FREE gift from a brand new supplier; Popcorn Shed. Take a look at what we featured below... 

Lincolnshire Poacher 

Produced by Simon & Tim Jones on their farm in the village of Ulceby, on the edge of the Lincolnshire Wolds, Lincolnshire Poacher is created using unpasteruised milk from their own herd of Holstein-Friesian cows and matures for a minimum of 16 months. This delicious cheese offers a savoury complexity with a sweet and fruity finish. 

Pair with a full bodied Red like a Cabernet Sauvignon. 

Blue D'Affinois (V)

Crafted by the renowned Fromagerie Guilloteu in the Rhone-Alpes region of France, this soft blue cheese offers a sweet and buttery tasting profile with a hint of blue. Made like Brie with added cream for a rich texture. Enjoy this cheese on top of crackers for a simple but delicious tasting experience. 

 

Brie De Meaux 

Passionately made by Rouzaire, a family owned company of three generations; Brie De Meaux is a soft, creamy Brie encased in a bloomy white rind which offers a rich flavour with hints of mushroom. At its peak this cheese has a condensed nutty and fruity flavour. If you're feeling particulary decadent, this cheese pairs perfectly with Champagne. 

 

Bowland (V)

Named after the Forest of Bowland, Bowland Cheese is a unique, creamy cheese made with traditional Lancashire cheese with the addition of apples, raisins and coated in cinnamon making it a delicious alternative dessert. Enjoy with a glass of tawny port or eat on its own. 

 

Mature Cheddar Heart (V)

February is the month of love, so we just had to include a Mature Cheddar Heart featuring the finest Mature White Cheddar. No cheeseboard is complete without a classic Cheddar and this one will not disappoint.
